Celebrating 250 Years of America 🇺🇸
When I think about the Fourth of July, it always takes me back.
Maybe it was spending the day at Grandpa’s lake house—fishing, swimming, and playing on the water. Or maybe it was helping with the cattle and horses out at Grandpa’s ranch. There were family ball games, picnics, small-town parades, sparklers after dark, and cousins running barefoot through the grass.
As the sun went down, we’d spread blankets on the ground, find the perfect spot, and wait for the fireworks to begin. Those are some of my favorite memories.
As we celebrate America’s 250th year, let’s remember that the freedoms we enjoy today were built by generations who believed in faith, family, hard work, and biblical principles. May we continue to protect and preserve those values for the next 250 years.
If your community, church, business, or organization is hosting a Fourth of July event, share it in the comments below. We’d love to help spread the word.
And if you’re looking for celebrations happening across Northeast Oklahoma, check out the event link below.
Have a safe, blessed, and memorable Fourth of July.
